Two different starting points

Ready stock is fabric that already exists: a shade and construction we hold in current lots, ready to pick, check and despatch. You are choosing from what is already on the shelf, so the shade is fixed to whatever running colours we currently carry.

Custom production is fabric made specifically for you. You bring a shade (or we match one) and, if needed, a construction that is not part of our running range, and we dye and weave it as its own batch. Nobody else's order shares that dye lot.

Why the MOQ differs between the two

The gap between 50 m and 500 m per shade is not arbitrary. Ready stock is already woven and finished, so a small order is simply a pick from an existing lot. Custom production adds its own dyeing and weaving cycle: yarn has to be dyed and matched to your shade, then a warp beamed and a loom set up for that specific run. Those steps cost roughly the same whether you order 100 m or 500 m, so the minimum has to rise to make a dedicated batch worthwhile.

What each route means for reorders

Custom production gives you a shade record tied to your own program. Because the original dye lot and construction are on file, later batches are matched against that standard rather than against whatever happens to be running at the time. This is the more dependable route for anything you plan to reorder over several years.
