Woven PT uniform fabric from a Bhilwara mill
Benny Cotts weaves uniform fabric on our own looms at Village Atoon, Bhilwara, with dyeing, processing and finishing through partnered Bhilwara processing houses. For schools and academies we supply woven cloth for PT trousers, shorts, house kits and sports-day wear.
We make woven fabric, not knits. Jersey T-shirts and stretch track fabric come from knit mills. Our cloth is for the woven pieces in a PT kit, which take the roughest wear: playgrounds, gravel, sliding and washing two or three times a week.
What PT uniform fabric should be made of
A light poly-viscose plain weave works well for most woven PT garments. The polyester keeps bright house colours from fading and helps the cloth resist tearing; the viscose keeps it comfortable in a hot PT period. A lighter weight keeps shorts and trousers easy to move in.

How to order PT uniform fabric
Tell us the garments, the number of students per house and the house colours. We send swatches and shade cards from stock, or lab dips if you need a custom colour.
Stock shades ship from 50 m per shade. Custom house colours are woven to order from 500 m per shade after lab dip approval, and the approved lot is held on file so next year's kits match. Price is on request.
