Custom shades and constructions are woven to order from 500 m per shade after lab dip approval, and the approved lot is held on file for reorders. Scrubs are washed hot and often, far harder than domestic laundry, so medical uniform fabric is judged on colour fastness and shape retention first and handle second. A stable, higher-polyester poly-viscose around 190-220 GSM covers most nursing and ward roles.
