A mill for college and campus uniforms

Benny Cotts is a uniform fabric manufacturer in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Greige cloth is woven on our own looms at Village Atoon, Bhilwara, and dyeing, processing and finishing run through partnered Bhilwara processing houses. We supply colleges, universities, institutes and the uniform makers who stitch for them.

A college uniform needs a more grown-up look than a school uniform, but it still gets worn most days and washed at home or in a hostel laundry. That is why most college programs choose a structured poly-viscose suiting: it holds a clean line, keeps its colour and does not shrink out of size. Benny Cotts is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

What college uniform fabric is made of

Most college uniforms in India are made from poly-viscose (PV). Polyester gives strength, crease resistance and colour that lasts; viscose adds comfort and a softer handle through a long day of lectures and labs. All-cotton feels cool but fades, creases and shrinks faster, so it rarely suits a uniform worn all year.

Our [college and institute uniform fabric guide](/guides/college-institute-uniform-fabric) goes deeper on choosing a quality, and the [blazer fabric guide](/guides/blazer-fabric-schools-corporates) covers heavier cloth for blazers.
