Checks & Yarn-Dyed for Uniforms
Woven-in checks and stripes with a structural pattern that never washes out.

Checks and stripes are woven from pre-dyed yarns, so the pattern is built into the cloth rather than printed on top. That makes it structural: the colour runs right through, edges stay sharp and the design never fades, bleeds or washes out over a uniform's working life.
We weave checks and stripes across plain and twill constructions, from fine kitchen checks to hard-wearing school-uniform patterns, tuned to the durability and laundering each end use demands.
The practical difference from a printed pattern shows up in year two, not week one. A printed check sits on the surface and abrades away wherever the garment rubs, while a yarn-dyed check is the same on the face and the back of the cloth and wears evenly across its whole life. For school programs that reorder annually, the woven pattern also repeats reliably: the check is defined by the warp plan, not by a print screen that drifts between runs.
Matching a check across reorders still needs the same discipline as a solid shade, because the pre-dyed yarns behind it are dyed to a reference like any other lot. We hold the reference for a program's check on file, so the batch woven for next year's intake sits beside this year's blazers without a visible break in the pattern or the ground shade.
