Poly-Cotton & Chambray for Uniforms

Blending cotton with polyester trades a little of PV's structure for a softer, more breathable, more natural-feeling cloth. Chambray, woven with a coloured warp and white weft, gives that characteristic soft, slightly heathered look while keeping the easy-care benefits of the polyester content.

These fabrics suit programs where comfort and a relaxed, approachable look lead: hospitality shirting, spa and salon wear, and smart-casual corporate uniforms that should feel as good as they look.

The cotton content changes the wearing experience more than the spec sheet suggests. Cotton absorbs moisture where polyester wicks it, so a poly-cotton shirt feels cooler and drier through a warm shift, which is why these cloths lead in kitchens, spas and warm-climate front-of-house roles. Our chambray and poly-cotton qualities sit in the 150 to 180 GSM shirting band, light enough for all-day wear under Indian summer conditions.

Specify poly-cotton with its care profile in mind: cotton-rich cloths shrink more than PV and soften with washing rather than holding a hard press.
