Front-of-House Suiting That Holds Its Line Through a Hotel Laundry Cycle
A hotel group's front-desk uniforms were losing their crisp finish within weeks of commercial laundering, undercutting the polished look guests expect at check-in.

The challenge
Front-desk uniforms were arriving sharp but going limp and wrinkle-prone after only a few commercial wash cycles, well before the uniform's expected service life.
Our approach
- We moved the front-of-house program to a wrinkle-resistant poly-viscose suiting rated for hotel-frequency laundering rather than the lighter shirting-weight fabric previously used.
- A trial batch was laundered at the group's own commercial facility for eight weeks before the full order was confirmed.
- We kept the shade consistent with the group's existing brand colour so the switch in fabric weight did not read as a visible change to guests.
Outcome
Front-desk uniforms now hold a pressed appearance through a full laundering cycle, extending the uniform's usable life at the same wash frequency.
